usually, a shop or mechanic must sign off on the form that your car is safe for the track PRIOR to the track day
and a track day checklist is here...i asked the same question just before the 2006 ZCON in dallas...i know someone else posted a more complete checklist in the past few weeks, but can't remember who it was
